ELENA HASSEL
was born in 1990 and grew up close to Frankfurt together with her three siblings.
After finishing her Bachelors Degree in Business Administration she spent two years in the U.S. but is back in Germany now where she lives and works close to Frankfurt.
In her free time she is an ambitious runner and loves to discover other cultures while traveling. Besides that she spends a lot of time with friends and family.
JOERG LONGWITZ
is an architect and designer who lives and works in Shanghai and Stuttgart.
Besides being a creative Joerg gained professional work experience in social projects in Bolivia, Mexico, Poland, USA and Germany. Joerg was born in 1978 in Stuttgart.
DR. GEORG BOUCHÉ
who was born in the year 1978 comes from Stuttgart, where he lives with his family.
Georg runs an international sales and marketing strategy consultancy and lectures at University. Georg studied in Germany, Poland, Spain and the UK.
KAI KUSSMANN
was born in Ludwigsburg in 1987 and lives in Stuttgart. The former branch manager of a savings bank is responsible for all financial matters of our registered association.
After graduating with a bachelor’s degree in international management, he completed a master’s degree in IT management and now works as an IT project manager. He loves to travel, to meet people from different cultures and to help where he can.
JAN-PAUL LAARMANN
is working in the fields of project development and communication for the tourist authority of North-Rhine Westphalia.
Promoting culture tourism for a living he is also publishing a magazine for German Literature called Richtungsding in his spare time.
HOLGER STERK
is managing a German machine building company for automotive industry in China. His first step into an African country was Gambia. Besides traveling he loves sailing, hiking, skiing and meeting his friends.
CLAUDIA SCHULTERS
born in 1985 in Saxony, is living in Hannover. After school, Claudia started to study philosophy and german history, by which she began to realize what her calling was and so absolve her diploma at the police.
She travels a lot, also including a longer stay in South- Africa, where she has learned to endure many trials but most of all the joy and greatness life hast offer serving and being an inspiration to others.
PATRICK PETZOLD
was born in Stuttgart in 1978. After his studies of economics he has been working for serveral years as an consultant in the financial and the automotive sector. Beside traveling and doing a lot of snow- and watersports he is still spending time on working with kids.
LUKAS GAUGLER
After studying business and economics in Stuttgart, Lukas worked for several communication agencies in Stuttgart, Baden-Baden and Shanghai as brand strategy consultant. Lukas was born in 1978 and lives in Stuttgart.

The entrepreneur, musician, author and BigFM radio presenter Jimmi Love from New York supports Help in Progress e.V. as one of the major sponsors together with his gospel choir.
UDO LEIBER
born in 1978, holds a degree in Business Administration and Mechanical Engineering. Udo has spent most of his career managing German companies in different countries throughout Asia. He currently lives in Singapore and frequently travels to Japan, China, Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesia as part of his senior management role in Asia. Outside of work he enjoys meeting and spending time with people from other nationalities and cultures.
